It is with great sadness we pass along the information that Firefighter Sean DeMuynck of the Penn Wynne/Overbrook Hills Fire Company of Lower Merion Township has made the Ultimate Sacrifice.
Firefighter DeMuynck was involved in firefighting efforts at the scene of a structure fire. During the fire, a mayday was recieved and the Rapid Intervention Team went in and rescued the downed firefighter. He was transported to the hospital however efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
FF DeMuynck is survived by his wife, and parents.
