A San Francisco man was shot and killed by a Vallejo police officer on Tuesday morning after the officer mistook a hammer in the man’s waistband for a gun.
Shortly after midnight Tuesday, a Vallejo police officer shot and killed a 22-year-old man who was suspected of trying to break into a local Walgreens during a chaotic night of looting, police confirmed Wednesday.
The dead man was identified as 22-year-old Sean Monterrosa. According to a report by the News York Daily News.
