DEATH / OBITUARIES : Stella Chapman has died, according to a statement posted online on March. 6, 2020.
We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.
Stella Chapman has passed from cancer.
She suffered terrible abuse at St. Anne’s residential school.
When the government threw out her claim Stella stepped out of the shadows to challenge the Justice Department.
They fought her all the way.
She won.
