The following are some tributes posted on social media to honor the life and the legacy of the deceased.
Stunned by the news of my high school friend and classmate Steve Bing’s passing. You may read his story and be tempted to judge, based on the externals of his life. Don’t. He leaves behind two children. Just heartbroken.

This made me so sad; I was very close to Steve in the 90’s. Even though he wanted more from me than I felt for him, he accepted my offer of friendship and he became a solid wonderful person in my life. His playful sense of humour, wit and intelligence – and appreciation of the arts – will always be what I remember of him. Lost touch when I got married – always hoped he’d find happiness. RIP kind generous friend.
