Ted Webb has died , according to the following statements posted on social media on March 31. 2021.

Chris Maltezos 21h  · RIP Tampa radio personality Ted Webb. Not only listened to him in the 1980s but worked with him in 1985 when I worked part time for the Jack Harris morning show. He was a dynamic personality. I remember he called me often at 5:30AM to pick up cigarettes for him on route to WFLA downtown.

He will be missed, I have been listening to him over 15 plus years and I also met him at the courthouse when Melvin B Smith was Tax collector. To know him was to love him. RIP Teddy!

I listened to him and Jack Harris on my morning commute when they were on WFLA-AM. They had a wonderful rapport.
