Parents, Teachers, Staff, and Students, It is with a heavy heart that we contact you this morning as we are all shocked by the sudden passing of one of our very own middle school teachers Ms. Tina Berry. Students were privately informed class by class this morning in the Middle and High schools of last night’s tragedy. We have counselors available to those students and staff members who need assistance in processing today’s news and loss. While details regarding funeral arrangements have not been finalized, please know that we at Henryetta Public Schools will be making arrangements to allow any and all students and staff the opportunity to attend the Memorial service on its selected date and time. If this is scheduled on a school day, Henryetta Public Schools will not be in session. We will notify all students and parents through this service once those details have been finalized. Also, tonight’s MS Football and Softball as well as tonight’s HS Softball games have been postponed to PAUSE in honor and to reflect on Ms. Berry’s impact on Henryetta Public Schools students and staff. The MS Football game vs. Haskell has been rescheduled for Oct. 5th at Home. We appreciate your thoughtfulness and understanding as we begin to deal and cope with this tremendous loss to our school and community. Please continue to keep the Berry family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you.

As our mutual friend stated, “I’m sure she went right into the arms of God” What a comforting thought, if one can be haved, at this time of momentous devastation If you knew Tina, youKnew she loved her son and daughter immensely, they were her pride 💖
She Had family, friends, and close friends that she cared deeply for and loved also
Her students were also a source of pride and love.
She was Such a kind person with a beautiful heart.
I have known her for 27 year and I don’t believe I can remember her one time saying anything negative about people we knew.
I remember her and I being a young moms, before her(and I) had graduated from college) bringing the kids in the bank where I worked and how she always spoke so kindly to them when they were getting into things and running around, just like littles do, never once raising her voice.
I remember her doing the same in Big Church…
I wished I had that calm nature and patience.
You also knew she loved our savior..
She would want all of her loved ones and friends to know Jesus.
She started her own Facebook page
“Rooted & Grounded, Ephesians 14-19”,
Sharing her faith.
I cannot remember for sure, but I believe this was started after she was Saved again and re-dedicated her life as an adult
