Todd Portune Death – Obituary: Cincinnati County Commissioner Passed Away.
Family and friends are mourning the death of Todd Portune who recently passed away. We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Todd Portune. Todd was a champion of our city and county and contributed to their prosperity and vibrancy. We are especially grateful for his support of Union Terminal, a building in which he fondly remembered boarding a train with his father in 1970s, one of the last trains out of Union Terminal.
Todd was an advocate for Union Terminal and our mission at Cincinnati Museum Center. He consistently asked us questions to make us think, pushing us to consider issues from all perspectives and the way our museum is bringing our community together.
We are grateful for Commissioner Portune’s commitment to our region. He was a dedicated and passionate public servant and we will honor his memory by our commitment to being a place that brings our community together and adds to the vibrancy of our region.

Todd Portune has died. Cancer. Outside of Cincinnati you wouldn’t know him, but he was a fine, honorable man, a moderate Democrat city councilman, then County Commissioner. He was popular and admired by all because he loved his city and her citizens. A true public servant.
