Tunch Ilkin Death – Obituary News : Long-time Steelers Broadcaster and Analyst has died.

We are sad to report that Long-time Steelers Broadcaster and Analyst, Tunch Ilkin, passes at the age of 63.

Tunch Ilkin, the two-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman for the Steelers and longtime sports analyst, has died, Post-Gazette news partner KDKA-TV reported on Saturday.

He retired as a longtime Steelers analyst in June.  Ilkin was a two-time Pro Bowl offensive lineman for the Steelers from 1980-92 before moving into his role as a member of the radio broadcast team. He led the 2021 class into the team’s Hall of Honor this summer, joined by fellow tackle Jon Kolb, defensive back Carnell Lake and wide receiver Louis Lipps.
