Tyler Amburgey Death – Dead – Obituary : Former Ice Flyer dies at 29.

Tyler Amburgey has died, according to a statement posted online on August. 30, 2020.

We learned of the deceased through the following tribute posted on social media.,

We are saddened to post the news that former Ice Flyer and 2014 SPHL champion, Tyler Amburgey, passed away last night. The Ice Flyers organization and all of Ice Flyer Nation send our thoughts and prayers to his wife Aimee, his daughter Rylee, and to all of his family, friends and past teammates. He was only 29 years old.

The Peoria Rivermen are incredibly saddened to learn of the passing of former defenseman Tyler Amburgey. A Clark Cup, President’s Cup, and Texas native, Amburgey played parts of 2 seasons with Peoria from 2013-15, logging 29 points in 52 games. He was 29 years old.
