Yasar Halim Death – Obituary: founder of one of North London’s grocery shops Passed Away.
Family and friends are mourning the death of Yasar Halim who recently passed away.
Sad to hear about the passing of Yasar Halim, founder of one of North London’s most iconic grocery shops. Mr Halim pioneered selling Cypriot products in London and gave the entire #UKCypriot community access to their favourite food and drink. Our thoughts are with his loved ones. pic.twitter.com/HsyGZ4fIHZ

Back in the mid 80s before all the others opened, we used to go there…One of my penniless days I had a painting & decorating job in the next road, used to go in to Yasar Halim to buy pide and white cheese to make my own sandwich with a gazos as lunch. Wovv… so scary, 35yrs!!
