Long-Time Lobbyist Yvonne Lesicko Has Died
Yvonne Lesicko, a long-time leader in the Statehouse lobbying community, has died.
Ms. Lesicko, who worked most recently in a policy leadership role at the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation, was 48.
“Yvonne was full of life, loved her husband Scott, son Oscar and all of her family and friends with the enthusiasm she approached all things,” said Adam Sharp, Ohio Farm Bureau’s executive vice president. “We are all in disbelief. Yvonne’s energy, humor and zest for life make this seem particularly unreal.”
In 2016, she was named vice president, public policy at the OFBF. She joined the organization in 2012 as senior director of legislative and regulatory policy. Prior to that, she was director of government relations for Cincinnati Bell Telephone and worked a stint at the Farm Bureau early in her career.
Ms. Lesicko, who was raised on a grain farm in Huron County, earned degrees from Dickinson College and Ohio State University. Among other things, she is a past president of the Ohio Lobbying Association.
Arrangements are pending.
